According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Finance, in November this year Taiwan's export value of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel amounted to USD 1.2 billion, decreasing by 19.6% compared to the same month of 2011 and down 18% MoM
In the first 11 months of this year, Taiwan's export value of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel decreased by 8.3% from the same period last year, amounting to USD 16.3 billion.
Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of 2012 Taiwan's import value for the products in question decreased by 14.6% compared to the same period of last year to USD 11.4 billion. In November alone, the country's import value for iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel decreased by 26.2% year on year to USD 816.3 million.
